The Course Is Delivered Through A Blended Arrangement With A Component Of Online Self-Paced Learning And Assessment Followed By Learning And Practical Assessments In A Classroom Situation.
The Duration May Differ Based On A Student's Current First Aid Skills And Knowledge And If They Are Participating For The First Time Or Completing Refresher Training.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Specific licensing/regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities.

Should undertake a Language Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) assessment online. Our LLND test can be found SMS- Axcelerate- LLND assessment and must be completed prior to enrolment. If you do not pass, the office will contact you to discuss support options. Completing the assessment also demonstrates your digital skills.
Note:There are no exceptions to the physical requirements relating to the provision of CPR, as listed above. If you cannot complete the CPR activities, you will not be awarded a certificate.
This course is delivered online and face-to-face in a classroom-based setting simulating real-life situations.
All relevant equipment and resources required to complete training and assessment are provided by Achievers College. Your classes will be conducted in modern classrooms, and you will be able to access Wi-Fi.
The online learning and assessment should be satisfactorily completed prior to attending class.
Students should refer to the learning materials to ensure they answer the questions correctly.
If you have not answered all of the questions correctly after two attempts, you must contact the office to arrange learning support prior to attending class.
Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning are not available for HLTAID011 Provide first aid.

On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded the following Statements of Attainment.
The unit HLTAID011 Provide first aid is included in many qualifications within Training Packages. Therefore, a statement of attainment for these units can be used as credit for a range of qualifications.
Students must have provided a USI to enable Statements of Attainments to be issued. We encourage all students to provide us with a USI at enrolment or to contact us if you require assistance. Exemptions from producing a USI apply to some cases. Full details of the application process and exemptions can be foundhere.

We will supply you with information about all fees and charges prior to enrolment. This information will be in the course information on our website and in our Course Brochures. It is also listed below. Fees comprise of course fees only.
We are aware of our obligations as Registered Training Organisation to protect any student fees paid in advance. To this effect we do not collect fees in advance of more than $1500.
We charge $10 to replace a Certificate or Statement of Attainment. All requests for replacements must be made in writing and should include the address you want it posted to. You should allow 5 working days from receipt of request to delivery.
We will make refunds to students in certain circumstances as listed in the table below. info@achieverscollege.com.au

| Withdrawing from a training program | You will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid if you withdraw more than 48 hrs before the scheduled start of the training. |
| After 48 hrs before the scheduled start of the training program no refund will be made. | |
| If a training program is cancelled before commencement | Any fees already paid will be refunded in full. |
Refund Guarantee If for any reason we cannot complete the training You will be entitled to a refund of fees proportional to the amount of training not delivered | |

Once we receive your application for Provide First Aid and payment is made, we will issue you with a Confirmation of Booking letter and invoice of payment for Provide First Aid course. It will be sent via email.
