Manual Handling Refresher course is targeted at students who are seeking to refresh their skills and knowledge in manual handling to maintain their industry currency and self-compliance. A statement of attainment for Manual Handling Refresher Course will be provided after successful complication of this course.
Manual Handling Refresher course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom-based setting. The timetable for Manual Handling Refresher course will be advised in your Offer Letter and Student Agreement. You are required to attend Manual Handling Refresher class for 1 hour where you will complete a mix of theory and practical activities.
At Achievers College is a nationally accredited training organisation. Manual Handling Refresherclasses will be conducted in modern classrooms, and you will be able to access Wi-Fi. You will be provided with Achievers College Student Guide for learning.
Achievers College will identify any additional support needs you may have at the time of application and enrolment and Achievers College may prepare a Student Support Plan for you based on those needs.
You can apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in Achievers College Student Handbook, which is available at achieverscollege.com.au
Achievers College has the following entry requirements:
You must:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs.
Have language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skill sufficient to complete the course, for example,to read materials relevant to the course, participate in discussions and roleplays and applynumerical concepts such as time management. This will be tested through a LLN assessment aspart of the course entry process. Students will need to achieve ACSF level 2 for reading, writing,numeracy, and oral communication to enter the course.
